Changes At W Magazine: W Magazine - which doesn't have an editor-in-chief - will soon be searching for one after Conde Nast's plan to cut the magazine's ties to WWD. The two publications were known for sharing staff, Bridget Foley and Patrick McCarthy most notably, with the exception of W's publisher, Gina Sanders. Senior staff of W, including Foley and McCarthy, will now work exclusively for WWD. W Magazine, which was down 45.8% in ad sales for 2009, also was removed from Conde Nast subgroup Fairchild Fashion Group. Conde Nast CEO Chuck Townsend says, "This formally establishes a structure for W consistent with our other consumer magazine titles, and allows FFG the autonomy to focus on their core business-to-business publications and related businesses.”

Terry Richardson Known For His Pervert Ways: Yesterday we enlightened you on stories models came forth with regarding famous photographer, Terry Richardson, and his ways of convincing his subjects to engage in sexual acts with him. But, a lot of industry insiders are wondering why everyone is so surprised - his work, um...ethic, is very well known. The photographer, who has worked with Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Purple and more, is said to be very open about his encounters. But does that make it okay? And, is it right for people to have knowledge of what's going on, but to still accept him with open arms? Richardson hasn't commented on the accusations - but we must admit he's one hell of a photographer. Hmm, we wonder what kind of story J-WOW walked away with, back when Richardson shot the cast of Jersey Shore for Interview Magazine a few weeks ago.

Stella McCartney Back At Gap: Stella McCartney's Kids Gap collection was a hit last fall, so it was expected that she would dabble again in the craze. Stella launched her Spring 2010 Gap bevy today in London - with the totally cute and adorable kids from the ads in tow. The bevy included striped sweaters and onesies, green jackets and patterned dresses. The popularity of last seasons bevy drove Carla Bruni to don one of the military jackets for a TV appearance - so we're eager to see if she'll opt for the striped onesie this time around.

Beyonce's HEAT Fragrance Selling: We're not too keen on the latest Beyonce and Lady Gaga collaboration, but we will say her business savvy is far beyond us. In February, Beyonce launched her HEAT fragrance at a New York City event. Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren recently revealed his chain has sold $3 million worth of the Heat fragrance between February and March - 72,000 of those bottles were sold in one hour when Beyonce made a store appearance. But, we likely still won't be purchasing any. Oop!

Editor's Re-See: Twinkle By Wenlan

We have just returned from a desperately needed editor's re-see of the Twinkle By Wenlan Fall 2010 bevy, for the runway show at Bryant Park didn't nearly do the collection justice.

Though the showroom may have been a tad bit toasty, the heat couldn't stop us from wanting to run and jump into the Twinkle By Wenlan bedding decor and wrap ourselves in the strings of yarn the label offers for ordering.

The staff coordinated a stellar presentation of the Fall and Pre-Fall 2010 looks for editors' and buyers' viewing pleasure. Observing the garments up close and personal, we were amazed by the quirky and admirable details that we didn't catch from our seats at the runway show. For example, a one crew-neck mesh dress (with prints along the mid-drift) came equipped with thumb holes at the end of the sleeves.

Although it was great to get an up-close look at the cutout and lingerie detailing in the bevy, we were especially enticed by the jewelry presentation. Enviable jewelry trends, like layers of chains overloaded with charms, were given new life with a delicate edge.

A label known for its signature knitwear, Twinkle By Wenlan offers needle-savvy fans the chance to DIY. The company has published 4 books featuring sewing or knitting patterns and instructions to make your own garments from Twinkle's prior collections.

We must say, although we didn't initially anticipate such a pleasant presentation, an up-close look really changed our views on the Fall 2010 bevy.

Salvatore Ferragamo's Latest Client: Suri Cruise

It's St. Patricks Day; and as much as we are attempting to ignore the mosh pits of green cruising down the Avenue of Americas, we can't.

But we will discuss the buzz on the internet today, starting wtih Suri Cruise's $850 dollar Salvatore Ferragamo handbag.

As a tiny tot for fashion, there are a few differences between Suri and us. Actually, there are several major differences between Suri and us. They are:

Paparazzi: Our intimate days of playing tag, hide-and-seek and obsessing over our favorite pink Hula Hop, did not consist of getting photographed by prying eyes to land on the cover of gossip magazines.

Parents: We didn't have the pleasure to be the offsprings of two of the most famous movie stars in the world. In fact, we didn't have parents who Oprah would dedicate show specials to. Granted, Suri's way more famous than her mother Katie Holmes.

Fashion: Dresses and cute frilly things caught our eyes - just like Suri's - but, we're trying to recall if we wore kitten heels, Christian Louboutin, shopped at Hermes and carried Salvatore Ferragamo bags. We're still trying to recall.

Celeb-Blogger Tommy Ton of Jak & Jil, seemed to spark a whirl of rumors with his tweet that suggested a dramatic change within the fashion industry.

Word spread, and immediately targeted the rumors of Karl Lagerfeld leaving Chanel, only to be one-up'd by Lanvin's Alber Elbaz. Chanel promptly denied any accusations that such rumor was reality.

After such a whirlwind, Tommy continued to fuel the hinting game via Twitter, suggesting his Twitter followers review the Style.com Paris videos the decipher the big secret he was sworn not to tell.

So what is this all about, you ask?

Tommy recently tweeted the entire thing was all a prank from Givenchy's designer, Ricardo Tisci:

"Guessing game is over. My source and I are the victim of a good prank played by Mr. Tisci himself. He got us good :(,"

Victor Demarchelier's Solo Show A Success

Last night was a full night of events. Whilst Anna Wintour and Miuccia Prada enjoyed the Metropolitan Opera's Attila, and Todd Selby & Cole Haan celebrated "The Inspired Life" campaign, I jetted over to Clic Gallery for the opening reception of Victor Demarchelier's photo exhibit in Soho.

What started off as a night with a light crowd observing the art of Patrick Demarchelier's (who was also in attendance) son, who confessed his love to girlfriend and Vogue favorite, Caroline Trentini, by way of photographs - soon turned into a buzzing event crowded with great industry influences and followers alike.

When I briefly scored a chance to speak to Victor and Caroline (who both are sweet as blueberry pie, by the way), I eagerly asked Victor about the relationship between each of the photos. He slyly replied that no such relationship existed. The images, shown in black-and-white and ranging from adorable vintage bears to Caroline posing in dance-like sequences, left guests questioning the Demarchelier tradition, background textures and choice of focus.

Also in attendance were supermodel Heidi Mount and Grace Coddington. Grace, who also showed The Catwalk Cats exhibit at Clic, stealthy creeped around the event, not one to make a scene after becoming The September Issue favorite.

The man of the hour remained humble and open to questions about his work, which was also available for sale. Be sure to catch Victor's solo show through April 5th at Clic Galleries (424 Broome St, NY).

Last Week In Review: Ports 1961 and Vanity Fair

One of our stops last week was to Bloomingdale's uptown for a Vanity Fair/Ports 1961 soiree. By the time we arrived, the "special presentation" of Ports 1961's Spring/Summer collection had ended and nearly all the champagne had been downed by the guests -  thank God that chocolate hors d'oeuvres remained to satisfy Joonbug staff latebirds.

The event was hosted to capture the moments of Ports 1961's Spring 2010 bevy. The vibrant bevy spoke through pastel colors, creams and blacks by way of Asian detailing. A classic example of clean romance spoke volumes through organza jackets, obi belts and T-shirt dresses.

In attendance was Ports 1961 designer, Tia Cibani, and fashion expert, Ann Caruso - amongst other fabulous guests.

Complimentary March Vanity Fair magazines were handed out to guests, with a Ports 1961 editorial lookbook in tow. Though, it was a bit odd to re-see a March issue, we gratefully accepted, taking note of the clean yet whimsical cover spread of young starlets, including Carey Mulligan, Kristen Stewart, Abbie Cornish and more!

4 Looks From Agyness Deyn's Barney's Capsule..

We won't necessarily label Agyness Deyn's Barneys capsule as good, but we won't necessarily label it as bad either. For some odd reason, we feel as if we seen this all before. Was it at Uniqlo? Or, was it Club Monoco?

Either way, Agyness' I Am By Agyness Deyn for Barney's Green capsule was launched s exclusively for the Kobe, Japan store opening - in addition to the 20th anniversary of its Shinjuku store. Out of the 17 piece bevy, we only liked four of them. Perhaps others will be more receptive to the spring-like tanks, scarves, minis and breeze-through dresses., though we wouldn't think it a very wise choice if you're accustomed to go underwearless. Follow our do's and don'ts, likes and dislikes, of the collection:

  • Do as a model does: secretly test your design skills with an alternate market way far over yonder before launching a full collaboration to walk a Bryant Park runway. Erin Wasson, who?
  • Don't create t-shirt mini's for yourself - as a runway model - whilst selling to an Asian market. The height difference might be an issue.
  • Do have qualities of your personal celebrity style when launching a "fan capsule." Thus, we are certain that we'll appreciate the bevy more once we see the items layered in typical Agyness fashion.
  • Don't go completely green on your fanbase, as they haven't heard the words "green" and "eco" roll off your lips since your starlet image was launched.

All in all, we love Agyness Deyn, and wish the collection the best. If you are seeking to purchase from the label, a trip to Japan will do if you are too pretentious for Ebay.

Taylor Jacobson's New Gig: Former Rachel Zoe slave, Taylor Jacobson, recently landed a new gig with Armani Exchange as an visual consultant and fashion expert. If we said it any faster, we would have said she's in retail hell - but we didn't. She will be assisting the retail chain and the launch of their new Hollywood Robertson Boulevard store. Work, girlfriend!

Louis Vuitton Boast on Facebook: Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton, Yves Carcelle, is far past his Twitter 140 characters, but made his statement clear via Facebook as follows:
"If you look at Facebook for instance, we are the luxury brand that has the biggest number of friends by far. Close to a million people in the world have declared themselves friends of Louis Vuitton. We use Twitter. We are actually working very strongly on revamping completely the platform of our Web site so in the next few months the Web site will become even more interesting and interactive. We think that it’s a brand new area that opens to luxury and it’s like any new technology. It can be poorly done or it can be a fantastic way of developing a whole universe around who you are." Arrogant or label narcissist? We can't decide.

Roberto Cavalli Gets Internet Savvy: The Milan designer recently just launched a blog, Facebook & Twitter account, in tow of adding a special 40th anniversary dedication via graphics & specials section on his official site, available March 31st. Talk about a full-day interns' load. He goes on to state: "I decided to increase the web platform as I have always been attracted by new technologies and my interest in social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, became the perfect way for me to communicate to my fans my lifestyle, my fashion, my 'joie de vivre ....During my last Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli fashion shows I wanted the more influential fashion bloggers to be present at my shows since the way to communicate is changing ... and I love it ....I always liked to challenge myself into new experiences."

Can we get an personal invitation, Mr. Cavalli?

Poor Styling For Gisele's Vogue Cover?

Not too many people are fond of the April 2010 Vogue cover. Let's just say what's on everyone's mind, the styling sucks.

Gisele Bundchen is in her breeziest 'hey girl' pose ever, and let's face it, could she possibly fit more bracelets on those little wrists?

Not as thick - nor overloaded with advertisements - as the March edition, Vogue is prepared to whip readers into shape for spring in its annual Shape issue.

This issue may or may not be the inspiration non-skinny girls need - considering Gisele was back shooting 6 weeks after delivering her baby. Throughout the Vogue interview, while breast-feeding in front of Vogue editor Joan Juliet Buck, Gisele goes into more detail then expected about her newborn, Benjamin Rein.

"I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal. My husband said, 'There's no way we're going to call him River.' But my father's name is Reinoldo, so it's a homage to him. And it's like water."

Regardless of her figure, Gisele goes into detail on becoming a star - and a narcissist at the same time - by way of her reasons for not having (or wanting) to look in the mirror. She revisits her past and explains how she killed off her supermodel persona that developed in her teens.

Meanwhile, as we continue to criticize Vogue's latest cover choice, Conde Nast staffers tested Vogue's latest iPad application recently, most calling it "underwhelming." Vogue has no intention of enhancing the application - stating that "the formatting and art is the same" as their iPhone apps - but plenty believe the same mentatlity put Vogue in an internet slump.

Pick up the must-read at your local newstands, or visit Vogue for more info.

Chanel Denies Lagerfeld/Elbaz Rumors!

Over the weekend, a mixture of gossip from Grazia and Tommy Ton's twitter account relaunched the rumors of Karl Lagerfeld leaving Chanel to have Lanvin designer, Alber Elbaz, take his place.

Meanwhile, Chanel promptly shut down the rumors stating, "replacing him is not an issue." Then what is the issue Chanel? His rendevous? Oop.

In spite of the guessing game Tommy Ton has started, he again tweeted the following:

"You think u know but u have NO idea. Sorry, it isn't my place to announce this news. You'll know exactly what I'm talking about soon . . . Here's a clue: view the Style.com Paris videos and see if you can figure it out. Tehehehe :P"

We haven't had the time, nor desire, to review all of the Paris videos, but that won't stop us from doing so now. We'll break the news to you all first. Hopefully!

In Chanel fun, Style.com caught up with some of the famed Chanel Ambassadors for a quirky video.

What's a Chanel Ambassador you ask?

Our Definition: A socialite, or public figue of some sort who purchased so much Chanel in their prime that Karl noticed enough to send them clothes to 'test out' before they're even shown. Occasionally it may just be a girl with massive style.

When will the application process begin for the public?

Fashion Roundup : Business Style

Occassionally it's not just about fashion shows and store launched (as if), but about business and what keeps the wheels on the fashion bus rolling. Here's what's going on this week in fashion.

Tommy Hilfiger Sells To PVH: The Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation - known for owning Calvin Klein, Van Heusen, IZOD, and Bass, with licensing deals for BCBG Max Azria, CHAPS, Sean John, DKNY and Nautica - has purchased the Tommy Hilfiger brand for $3 billion, with $137 million in liabilities. PVH was the highest bidder for Tommy's business, ergo the business will continue with Fred Gehring as Chief Executive - with him adopting various international responsibilities for PVH.

French Connection Sales Nicole Farhi: Famed UK Fashion Retailer, French Connection, confirmed the sale of Nicole Farhi to a private LA firm. After reporting a net loss of $39.3 million up to January 31st, French Connection sold Nicole Farhi for $7.6 million.

Cartier Launches E-Commerce: Cartier launched their US E-Commerce site today, with prices ranging from $80 dollars for business cards holders to $16,000 dollars for a watch. After taking note of Tag Heuer's hologram for authenticity, and Cartier's "call-to-purchase" marketing strategy last year, Cartier's North America president, Emmanuel Perrin, deemed the e-commerce move as 'too great to ignore.'

Permira and LVMH with Young Designers: It's said that summer may be the slowest months for fashion, but the greatest months for investors to research and purchase labels. With heavy speculation around the French luxury group, LVMH, and who their next purchase will be, fashion show attendances and raised eyebrows make it seem as though LVMH's eyes are on Rodarte and Garegth Pugh - though LVMH has not confirmed. Meanwhile, London-based private equity firm, Permira, is rumored to be letting go of Valentino and Proenza Schouler - whilst a credible source notes they may have an eye on Alexander Wang, who attended a Valentino show last year. Poor Alex - having to suffer through such a show.

The Secret May Be Out: Twitter Reveals Changes At Chanel?

We're asking you to recall last week's post, where we linked Tommy Ton's (of Jak & Jil) twitter post to the Balenciaga/Vogue Paris scandal.

As we quickly assumed there may be more to the scandal - considering it was a hot topic - new sources note the news deemed to "SHAKE the fashion world in the next two days," may actually have something to do with Chanel. More so, Karl Lagerfeld leaving Chanel.

Over the weekend, Grazia whispered into the fashion industy's ears - of anyone listening - that Tommy Ton may have indeed been relaunching the rumors of Karl Lagerfeld retiring from the glamourous label, leaving it in the hands of Alber Elbaz of Lanvin.

So why not just make an announcement, you ask?

Another credible source has come up with a famed theory of the fashion industry loving to keep secrets, by way of preventing various labels from approaching Elbaz to get him to their label first. But, if the rumor is true, I guess it's not a secret anymore, no?

Considering Karl Lagerfeld is 76, goes over budget for Chanel fashion presentations and preys on young boys, it just may be his time to let go - though he's already claimed he'll "die with his boots on." We just hope those boots are easy to slip off once he's dead.

We wouldn't mind a slight change over at Chanel: though we didn't bargain for such a sultry, dark change as Alber Elbaz; a change right now is quite ideal. Your thoughts?

Emotional Stress Behind The Scenes At Prada?

We're still pondering whether we'd call the interview of  Miuccia Prada's husband, Patrizio Bertelli, disturbing.

The beau of one of the most famous designers in the world sat down with WSJ magazine to argue with Miuccia on the need to market the Prada brand appropriately.

Throughout the interview Miuccia and Patrizio verbally fought back and forth on the need for Miuccia to join the world of technology via social media sites, such as Twitter.

Miuccia struck a nerve hen she made a remark of the label being a snob for not acknowledging the current pop culture. She goes on to discuss that sometimes her husband may be right about certain topics - it just may take repeated badgering on his part to get through to her. Considering Miuccia's work load - by way of seasonal collections, New York's Attila wardrobe production and various projects - we doubt Twitter is at the top of her priority list. Though Patrizio may beg to differ. In response to Miuccia, he states:

"Let me ask you this: Is it more democratic not to answer people’s questions on the internet at all? Or is it more democratic to give an answer even if it’s not complete?”

It's apparent that Patrizio may have a temper; he's known for breaking Prada mirrors that make people look too fat and crushing the taillights of several cars for parking in Prada's zone. But, he claims that he enjoys doing so because everything he does and knows is correct. What makes you so certain, Patrizio?

What makes us believe that the two may host an unstable, and emotinally disturbing relationship comes off as quite natural to Miuccia:

"It’s always an intense relationship, and it’s exhausting having to work with him. But I admire and respect him...It’s a war in here every minute, and to be part of this company, you have to be trained.”

We encourage Miuccia to call it as she likes to get her job done, yet is it all so necessary? We haven't seen such discipline since, oh say, Joe Jackson.

Our highlight of the interview: Miuccia challenging Patrizio to wake up every morning and tweet with consumers and curious Prada followers alike. Classic.

At least, that is what Teen Vogue is doing.

Nonetheless, the concept store will host a plethora of events, including model castings, fashion presentations, a Vans of the Runway show, style consultations, internet lounge and more.

They also promise appearances from Teen Vogue Editors, but we challenge you to name one that everyone is familiar with. Oop!

Paris Fashion Week: Ending Quite Well

Paris Fashion Week has come to an end, and as sad and somewhat happy as we are, we must admit that the week's final days were most certainly the best. Designers who had shown earlier in fashion month (with exception of Cerruti's Richard Nicoll) were given a second chance to wow buyers, editors and fashion followers with their talents. Though some collections were a bit, well, boring, they made a pleasant statement. On the other hand, some collections provided a breath of fresh air to reunite the industry and remind everyone there is a future for fashion.

Cerruti: The label that recently relaunched their runway presentations, by way of Richard Nicoll, was a hidden Paris gem to be rediscovered. Though it was said that not too many fashion leaders attended the show (due to its inconvenient location), Cerruti showed pleasant tonal colors in reds, blues, and pale pastels. The mohair knits were breathtaking, as were the perfectly draped trousers.

Hermes: It's so sad that Jean-Paul Gaultier can create such beautiful clothes for his own label and for Hermes, but design such a disturbing capsule bevy for Target. We guess it's true - you get what you pay for, no? Regardless, Hermes's take on The Avengers was divine, by way of masculine tailoring and a pair of orange tights that screamed, "Go and pick up your Birkins, Joonbug!" As pleasant as that may sound, we'll keep saving for our Birkin budget and continue to admire the camel topcoats, subtle vests and borrow our grandfather's hats.

Louis Vuitton: Initially, the sound of curvy and mature models didn't entice us - neither did the notion of a romantic dream parading down the runway. But, once we spotted the endearing Lily Donaldson walking in the show, we decided to rethink every pondering thought. Full busts and circle skirts of floral prints filled the runway, alongside unattractive feminine coats. The bags were somewhat subtle and something we'd expect a librarian to carry. But, we know how Marc Jacobs' mind works, and dissection is they key to his collections. These pieces aren't necessarily meant for clashing together, but seperately.

Miu Miu: A totally opposite and sultry reflection from Miuccia's Prada collection. Looks were taken with wit, creating a sensational Summer Of Love. Dandy bows and square-toe pumps put the icing on Miu Miu's sixties inspired cake. We even saw a brief flashback to Prada's last sensation some seasons ago as we admired the strong dedication to black and orange. And, in hindsight, black and orange isn't so bad for this upcoming fall. Insert your own Halloween joke here.

See you next season!

Vogue Paris' Blacklisting A Really Big Deal...

Tuesday, Tommy Ton of Jak and Jill tweeted something that raised quite a few curious eyebrows:

"I received some news tonight that is going to SHAKE the fashion world in the next two days. CRAZY!!!!"

Now, if one were as smart and saavy as we are, they'd note that Tommy Ton has a weird and twisted tie to the Vogue Paris team (via streetstyle encounters). And, with Carine's public scandal with Balanciaga - after being blacklisted from the Fall 2010 show - people are beginning to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

It's all over the internet these days, as Paris Fashion Week came to an end Wednesday. But we've taken a few tips here and there regarding the speculation on both what happened between the two parties, and what's to come:

Balenciaga hasn't placed an ad in Vogue Paris magazine since October of 2009.

Balenciaga designer, Nicolas Ghesquiere, is BFF's with the Balenciaga stylist and former stylist of Vogue Paris, Marie Amelie Sauvé - who ultimately was fired from the publication.

Balenciaga loaned a sample to Carine Roitfeld, who then loaned it to a brand she consulted for - MaxMara. MaxMara then reproduced an strikingly similar version of the coat.

Nicolas Ghesquiere and Carine Roitfeld began dating early last year, right before Ghesquiere admitted to a one-night scandal with Carine's publication sidekick, Emmanuelle Alt.

Okay, we lied about that last speculation - but, it makes a good story, no? Though the remaining points are indeed factual, things are still a bit sketchy - and actually making quite a few insiders nervous of what's to come. It's said that Nicolas Ghesquiere and his BFF, Marie Amelie Sauvé, actually HATE the Vogue Paris team. With so much power and action shown this season behind the word 'hate,' it seems as if the fashion industry may turn into the cattiest empire built of emotions. It's funny how Anna Wintour knows when to stay out of certain controversies, no?

As the days unwind, we will get closer to the results of Tommy Ton's twitter statement and this scandal, and will, of course, be keeping all of our readers updated.

Paris Fashion Week: An Almost-Ending Wrap Up

Towards the closing of Paris Fashion Week (and the end of fashion month in general), things are looking a bit better, at the least. It's not entirely fabulous - but it's not entirely repetitive either.

Chanel: We're starting to realize that the craze about the Chanel shows is obviously the decor - who cares about the clothing anymore, right? Regardless of Karl Lagerfeld possibly going over budget on a real set iceberg and water delivered from Sweden and giving Baptiste his monthly sugar daddy payoff (we get it), the clothes were just like any other Chanel show. Except that Karl felt it would be funny to add a little humor - fur. As in faux fur. The entire bevy showed faux fur, with heavy thigh-high fur retaliation to Prada's Fall 2009 galoshes. Oops!

Chloe: Can someone please explain Hannah McGibbson's obsession with loose trousers tucked into boots? And unfortunately for our eyeballs' sakes, they were snow boots. Coincidentally, the furs were divine - by way of a blend of colors. We praised Hannah's attempt to go completely minimalistic, in honor of Phoebe Philo; yet, her tacky roots soon began to show. For some odd reason, we walked away from viewing the collection wanting to instantly purchase an bright orange Hermes bag. But, whose fault is that?

Valentino: Did someone threaten design duo Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri's jobs at Valentino? The duo has finally struck the fine balance between being successors to a legacy and taking the label into the future. Gratefully, we praised the cascade overlays which we've be dying over since New York Fashion Week.

Wunderkind: To us, this bevy was our folk fairytale escaping through a jungle safari in Africa. The colors, which were so brilliant and too attractive to be for fall, were obviously designed to earn a double take (or triple take) from a client.

Givenchy Stiffing Models?

We've always had a feeling that there may have been more behind the prominent red gloves and lips at Givenchy's Fall 2010 show. Pure evil, is it?

Apparently, Givenchy wanted an exclusive deal with several models to walk in their show. Most of the models Givenchy hand-picked were cancelled 24 hours before the Sunday show - by way of email.

An anonymous agent claims Givenchy booked 5 of their models without an exclusive fee - just 1500 Euros in payment and press - whilst making the girls pay their own hotel fees. In the email, Givenchy cited a "fit problem," as their reason for cancellation.

The agent then noted:

"We had one girl who flew to Paris all the way from Argentina. It was too late for them to get new gigs, and they had to pay for their own hotels. I've never seen something so unprofessional and arrogant."

As sexy as designer Ricardo Tisci may be, since when did the who's who become such a priority for the label? Send us some Fall 2010 clothes, and we'll forgive him in no time.
