For the 40th anniversary of Woodstock Music and Arts Fair, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will display a new exhibit that will showcase numerous items from the historic musical event that hosted artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, The Grateful Dead and Joan Baez.

The exhibit is projected to run from July 3rd to November 29th, and will include several artifacts from several bands who attended Woodstock. The exhibit will also inculde items from Michael Lang, Woodstock’s executive producer. Lang’s vest, performance contracts, and the original press release will all be on display.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will also host a weekend celebration in August 21-23 in honor of the anniversary.
